The Tamale 3rd Ring Road starts at the Kanvilli/Jisonaayili junction and passes through Tuunaayili/Kpawumo, Fuo-Taha, and the Vittin Barrier on the Yendi/Salaga Road. It continues through Banvim, Junshegu, and Dungu on the Techiman-Kumasi Road, extending to Dungu Kukuo and Shishegu on the Nyankpala main road. It then proceeds through Kpalsi and Gurugu before returning to the Kanvilli/Jisonaayili junction on the Bolga Road.
