The Ministry of Roads and Highways Public Relations Unit was adjudged the “Best Social Media PR Unit” at the 2022 Government PROs Excellent Awards ceremony held at the GNAT Hall today (Thursday, 16th February 2023).
The Chief Director of the Ministry was recognized as the “Most PR-Friendly Chief Director of the Year,” while the Head of Public Relations, Nasir Ahmad Yartey, was awarded “2nd Runner-up PRO of the Year.”
The Ministry was nominated in five out of a total of 10 Categories of Awards, including “Best Media Engagement,” “PROs PR Officer of the Year,” and “Best Assistance PR of the Year.”
The Awards were part of the 3rd GOG PROs Review Summit, which was organized by the Information Services Department under the auspices of the Ministry of Information to evaluate the work of Public Relations Officers in the various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) of the government, as well as to assess the year 2022.
