Reconstruction of Sunyani Road Phase II progresses steadily

Work is progressing steadily on the reconstruction of the Sunyani Road Phase II.
The project is expected to reduce traffic congestion on the N6 highway acting as an urban arterial, reduce travel time for the road users and residents along the corridor thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the people.
The works started in October 2020 and its expected to be completed in September 2022. The Project is currently 16% complete.



These were disclosed by the Director Urban Roads, Ing James Amoo-Gottfried when the President visited the project site, this afternoon, as part of this 4-days working visit of the Ashanti Region.
